Stourbug operates via a private forum which only paid up members can access. However, we will set you up with visitor access for a short period of time if you contact us to express interest in joining Stourbug.
Each member of Stourbug will be required to hold insurance as a minimum from a cycling organisation. Currently, membership of either Cycling UK or British Cycling provides third party insurance of £10m or more, which is accepted by Stourbug. The club insists on this cover so that all of our members are protected when cycling in a group.
Where a member does obtain the required level of insurance from another source, we will ask that a copy of the policy document is lodged with the Membership Team. Please also note, if you already have your own insurance, you shouldn’t need to buy Cycling UK insurance.
In the first instance please contact us. We will send you full details and the links needed to further progress your membership. When joining Stourbug, you will be asked to complete a declaration allowing Stourbug to hold your personal data, and to allow certain data to be shared only on our private forum with other members.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR DATA WILL BE HELD BY STOURBUG AND IT WILL NOT BE SHARED WITH ANY THIRD PARTY OUTSIDE OF STOURBUG OR USED FOR MARKETING PURPOSES.
